During an outreach in northern Ghana, out OneWay Africa Team met a young Muslim man named Yussif. It seemed the Lord had sent him to help them. He worked as if he was one of the team, and even gave them food to eat after a showing of the Jesus Film.

Something special happened when the team went to a community called Takorayiri. After meeting with the chief, Yussif asked someone to take them to find a suitable location to show the film. An area close to a grinding mill was chosen. The sound system’s speakers were small, though, so they didn’t know how the people would be able to hear. They set up anyway, and during the process of getting the equipment ready, the electricity went off in the community. The grinding mill stopped and the whole place suddenly became quiet.

Because of the power outage, many people attended the Jesus Film screening. Toward the end of the film, the electricity returned, but operation of the grinding mill did not resume. The people stayed to the end of the screening and heard the good news. Praise the Lord!

This story is just one of the many from the field, showing how God is powerfully revealing Himself. Since January 2017, the OneWay Africa team has showed the Jesus Film to more than 46,000 unreached people among 8 different people groups, with 7,800+ responding to Christ. Glory to God!
